Techaisle conducted a unique survey of US SMBs and midmarket firms to understand digitalization trends. This report is designed to provide guidance to IT vendors and channel partners responsible for digitalization strategies that affect sales and marketing of advanced IT solutions to SMBs & midmarket firms in the US market. The report is an essential guide, driven by deep data analysis, that addresses issues critical to formulating and executing on go-to-market strategy predicated on digitalization.
The report is based on detailed survey of 1476 unique US SMBs.
Small business: for the purposes of this report, Techaisle is excluding 1-9 employee businesses from its small business data and analysis. The remaining small businesses belong to one of three groups: 10-19 employees, 20-49 employees and 50-99 employees.
Midmarket: Businesses with 100-999 employees, which can be further subdivided into three groups: 100-249 employees (small midmarket), 250-499 employees (midmarket), 500-999 employees (near enterprise).
A 21 minute questionnaire was administered to each respondent. Respondents were IT and Business decision makers. Sampling quota was fixed by employee size categories: 10,19, 20-49, 50-99, 100-249, 250-499, 500-999.
This survey provides readers with statistically-significant and current data on digital transformation. A sample of 1476 is outstanding for a single country, SMB-specific research initiative. A survey of this size considered accurate at a 95% confidence level (19 times of 20) at a margin of error of +/- 2.7%.
Taken together, the size/robustness and recency of this data makes it the most reliable source of information on digitalization adoption in the US SMB market.
