Techaisle routinely conducts depth interviews with actual SMB and Midmarket customers using technology to understand their business issues, challenges and lessons learned. For the first time, Techaisle is opting to publish select interviews under its SMB Compass Series reports.

Specific respondents who were responsible for NetSuite implementation and continue to be involved in its management were identified for interviews in each SMB organization using SAP Business One ERP.

Each interview was approximately 1.5 hours long with continued Q&A and clarifications post interviews. At a minimum each interview captured the following elements:

Types of respondents within the SMBs included:

  • Responsible for Full Life-Cycle Implementation of: “SAP Business One” and “BatchMaster Enterprise” Projects and ensuring all project targets are met e.g. progress, quality and cost, using various tools like: MS Project, Time sheet application, and Share Point Project Server
  • Information Technology Professional with 9 years of experience in leadership roles across diverse industries. Successfully deployed IT solutions to meet business objectives and goals of the organization, streamlined business processes and implemented real-time tools for better decision making and complete control by management team over entire business. Undergone various training programs like SAP Business One, Microsoft SQL, and Crystal Report. Successfully Implemented and managed ERPs like SAP Business One, Customized ERP solutions for various industries and Educational Institutes
  • Several years of experience in development and design especially, software development, designing and Unit testing. Also, proficient in C++, VC++ MFC and C#. Responsible for designing SOP for Windows AD and Exchange, Linux, VMware and network to be followed by team members
  • A certified functional consultant in SAP Business One. Strong understanding of Business flows of Supply Chain-Sales, Procurement processes and Finance Processes. Perceived knowledge of SAP Business One Menu, Drag & Relate-Reporting, Customizing & Organizing User Menu
  • 9 years of domain experience in Accounts and Finance industry & 3 years’ experience in SAP Business One as implementation consultant. Expertise in managing key areas like Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Inventory Accounting
